Tammie Lee Lawson


This is a photo of a dangerous fugitive named Tammie Lee Lawson.  The DEA used to have information about her on its Most Wanted website, specifically listed under most wanted fugitives for the Philadelphia area.

Strangely, the Drug Enforcement Administration's Most Wanted Fugitive listing for Tammie Lee Lawson has now disappeared, even though I can't find any information online that indicates that she has been captured.  That seems odd, because from the information that the DEA used to have posted about her, she sounds like a dangerous person.  Luckily, I captured an image of the Tammie Lee Lawson webpage before the DEA took it down, and as a public service I have reproduced it below:

Extraordinary Rendition

To my imperfect understanding as a civilian, "extraordinary rendition" is a legal process by which anyone who is not a citizen or legal resident of the United States can be deported, often to a country where the rendition victim may be tortured or killed.  There is a great deal of contention over whether rendition is constitutional, and whether the American legal system is betraying the intent of the Founders by engaging in the practice of rendition.  There have been attempts to appeal the practice of rendition to the U.S. Supreme Court, all of which have failed

Here's the tricky part: if a person is a naturalized U.S. citizen (someone who was not a citizen at birth, but became a citizen later on), that person's citizenship could potentially be revoked on the grounds that the person is a habitual criminal or a terrorist.  Once the target's citizenship has been revoked, that person would be vulnerable to rendition.

Even trickier: such a revocation could be carried out in secret by the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court.  The FISC operates in secret, off the record, and without the presence or knowledge of the defendant or even a defense lawyer.  That means that a person who is being targeted under the Patriot Act and FISA usually has no idea that he or she is under investigation.

The FISC appears to have been set up on the honor system.  The assumption appears to have been that there is no downside to allowing federal prosecutors and law enforcement officers to gather evidence against a target and present that evidence to a judge without the defendant or his defense attorney even being present.  While most federal judges, prosecutors and LEOs are honorable people with a commitment to the principle of equal justice for all, a specialized judicial system in which the defendant is not even allowed into the courtroom, let alone allowed to speak to the court, seems ripe for abuse.  For example, such a system would make it possible for corrupt prosecutors or LEOs to legally kidnap and murder an innocent victim.

Theoretically, none of the above would apply to anyone who was born on U.S. soil, because such a person would have "birthright citizenship."  The citizenship of a natural-born U.S. citizen cannot be revoked under any circumstances, as to do so would be unconstitutional; it would be a violation of the 14th Amendment.

All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside. No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

Tammie Lee Lawson and Extraordinary Rendition

How does all of this connect to Tammie Lee Lawson?  From a series of strange conversations that I have been having with LEOs since April of 2010, I have gathered that Lawson was not born on U.S. soil, which means that she is a naturalized citizen, not a natural-born citizen.  I think that she may have been adopted as a child, possible from an orphanage in Russia.  While I have no direct confirmation of this, I think that it is likely that Lawson's citizenship has been revoked because she is a habitual criminal with a long list of felony convictions; she also appears to be a white supremacist, and she may be connected to a domestic terrorist group.

Based on the information that I have picked up, I think that the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court may have given authorization, in secret, for Tammie Lee Lawson to be arrested and taken directly to the nearest airport to be deported via rendition.

What Does Any of This Have to Do with a Civilian from California?

You may well be asking yourself: What does this have to do with a law-abiding civilian from California?  Believe me, I have been asking myself the same question.

As I wrote in another post, for the last 15 months I have repeatedly gotten into strange conversations with members of law enforcement who seem to be expecting me to express racist or anti-Semitic views.  They also seem to expect me to be some sort of deranged criminal, instead of the quiet, law-abiding woman that I am.

It has taken me quite a while to figure this out, but I believe that Tammie Lee Lawson, habitual criminal, may have stolen my identity.  She and I are have the same hair, eye and skin color, we are the same height, and we are close to the same age (she is 12 years older that I am).  While I don't think that our faces look that much alike, they look similar enough that she may have been able to pass herself off as me in person.

If I am right about this, God help me, because that would mean that I am at risk of being deported via rendition, too, even though I was born on  U.S. soil (and therefore have birthright citizenship) and I have never committed a crime in my life.  At any moment, I might be "disappeared," like a political prisoner in Argentina in the late 1970s.

While I sort this mess out, I have decided to post this blog: at least this way, I will be able to refer confused members of law enforcement to this page, rather that spend an hour or two trying to explain it all verbally (although I have been doing that, too).

Hopefully, I will get this catastrophe sorted out soon.  I've always felt sympathy for ordinary civilians who end up on the TSA's "no fly" list as the result of having the same name as some obscure terrorist, and now I find myself in a similar predicament.

One other note: It must be a coincidence that my risk of being renditioned has increased now that I have begun publicly expressing concern about my safety (along with various other concerns).
